More and more of these firms are requiring tests and further examinations before an applicant is even allowed to get in through the door. That’s largely a result of the fact that so many poor employees and poor candidates were let through in the past, and had caused trouble for many firms. So now what’s happening is that there’s a strict career test/assessment in place, and it’s a requirement, and most applicants and prospective employees will have to go through it to get to a point where they can actually have a secondary interview with somebody of actual rank. The employment interview is very critical, and it’s a way to showcase a prospective employer what you have in terms of skills, in terms of the way you communicate, and in terms of what you can get done for a firm; it’s really important for employees to realize that this test is more or less mandatory.
