What to Consider when Buying Sprinkler Pumps
There are certain things you should keep in your mind when choosing a sprinkler pump.
1. How big is your water source? If your source is a large area like a river then you could pump out more water at once. You could use several hose pipes to draw water from the source. This however will decrease the pressure from within your pump, so you may want to think about sprinkler pumps which are more powerful.
2. Is the water being drawn from up a steep gradient? If so you need to remember that the steeper the hill, the more the pressure is going to decrease! The more the pressure decreases from the drawing out phase the more powerful of a pump you could do with!
3. The larger the area you have to water, the more hose pipes you’ll probably want to attach to your pump. However with increased sprinklers comes decreased pressure.
